2024 HOF Inductee
Chris Bennett
Chris Bennett is a globally recognized leader in running. A champion at CBA and the University of North Carolina, he pursued a sub-4-minute mile with the Nike Farm Team before returning to CBA as a history teacher and coach. There, he advanced the cross-country and distance programs to national prominence. Later, as Nike’s global head coach, Bennett inspired thousands through runs and events worldwide.

Ed Flynn '66
Ed Flynn, a distinguished leader in American law enforcement, pursued his career after graduating from LaSalle University with a history degree. He earned a master’s from John Jay College and served 15 years with the Jersey City Police Department before taking executive roles in Massachusetts. Appointed Milwaukee’s chief of police in 2008, Flynn retired in 2018 and now supports police departments nationwide through writing, speaking, and consulting.

Jim Curley
James “Jim” Curley, a Monmouth County native, thrived in the USMC during the Vietnam War and remains active in Veteran and Marine Corps affairs. An alumnus of CBA’s first graduating class, he values his Shrewsbury roots and the guidance of his family. Jim Curley continues to honor his legacy as a son, father, grandfather, and patriot, cherishing the enduring impact of CBA’s inaugural class.

John Shibles
John Shibles, Managing Partner of Triad Wealth Advisors, is an accomplished wealth management professional. A CBA alumnus, he graduated Cum Laude from Marist College in 2000, receiving awards in Theatre Arts. John has also served as a Trustee of St. Leo the Great and is a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre. His dedication to community service and CBA is well-recognized.

Matt Kawas
CAPT Matt Kawas, from Matawan, NJ, was commissioned in 1995 from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon in 1996. His distinguished service includes the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, and Navy Achievement Medal, among other honors.

Pegasus '86
The 1986 production of Evita at CBA marked a historic achievement as the first high school performance of the play. It was the debut show in CBA’s Henderson Theater and led to the formation of the Pegasus Production Company. Directed by Mark Fleming, with Cathy Carroll as stage and costume director and Br. Ralph Montedoro as special assistant, the production featured 37 cast members and 50 backstage contributors, showcasing remarkable teamwork.
